MacDermind ZinKlad surface treatment licence re-awarded

Zinc and zinc alloys provide cost-effective, high performance coatings – with minimal change in dimensional tolerances. Together with trivalent chromium passivates and sealers, zinc-based systems offer excellent corrosion resistance for all steel fasteners, thanks to zinc’s electronegative properties to iron.

MacDermid’s range of anti-corrosion coatings are specified and approved by many of the leading automotive companies worldwide to help protect cars in all elements. Surface treatments help to increase the lifespan of components, improving the perception of quality and ultimate end-user experience. Specifying the correct protection helps to minimize warranty costs and mitigate the risk of field failure – ultimately, maintaining a consistent and reliable performance.

Cirteq Ltd is very proud to have once again been awarded the Licence by MacDermind to use their product in our plating department. These licences are strictly limited, so Cirteq is one of only 80 applicators globally of the Zinklad 250M product.

The ongoing support provided by MacDermind is greatly appreciated and allows Cirteq to provide the high quality hexavalent chrome free finish to our Circlips, Snap and Grip-rings, that our Customers demand.
