Cirteq LTD: ISO9001:2015 / IATF16949:2016 Certified

The Automotive Industry is experiencing an age of rapid advances in globalisation. Cirteq being one of the leading manufacturers of Circlips and one of the most important export-oriented companies in its field within the UK needs to guarantee security and transparency in international supply chains.

The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) who have implemented the standard IATF 16949 have decided to base it on ISO 9001:2015 with some additional enhancements. This means that organizations in the automotive industry seeking IATF 16969 certification must also comply with ISO 9001:2015.

This is why Cirteq Ltd, a specialist in the field of Circlips, Grip and Snap rings and retaining Rings has worked hard to complete the transition from ISO16949 to IATF16949. On the 29.08.2018 following an intensive audit by the British Standards Institute (BSI), the certification was awarded. This will become mandatory for the Automotive Industry by the end of 2018.

The new standard will help Cirteq Ltd to:

  • Integrate with other management systems
  • Provide an integrated approach to organizational management
  • Reflect the increasingly complex international environment in which Cirteq Ltd operate in this industry
  • Ensure the new standard reflects the needs of all potential user groups
  • Enhance an organization’s ability to satisfy its customers and continually improve

Since 2009 Cirteq has been ISO16949 certified, which meant some considerable security in regards to Quality Management systems for all of Cirteq Ltd customers. With the additional attainment of IATF16949 status, which stipulates adherence to the strictest Quality standards, Cirteq Ltd has placed itself in a position to be able to fulfil the future automotive requirements.

All of this guarantees that in future, Cirteq Ltd will be an even stronger and more reliable partner for industry and commerce.
